Colorful Industry
I gravitate to unkept or less tourist focused areas during my travels. My photographs in this ongoing series depict cluttered views near ports of call, common neighborhoods and industrial sites, enhanced by random placements of people, animals, reflections and colors that may be temporary visitors to the remaining scenes. To lighten the feeling of the size and impact of the clutter and encroachment, I have used a tilt shift lens in some of these photos to diminish the industrial feel so the viewer can enjoy a more innocent and playful reaction to the subjects.
